Personality

Neela always has the brightest smile on her face, and lights up a room with her cheerful and kind attitude. She's easily excitable and loves to just experience life. She loves nature and always seems to be outside - she rarely wears shoes because she loves the feeling of the earth on her feet. She can be overbearing with people she loves and tends to be clingy; she gets very easily attached to people who pay attention to her or show her kindness.

Biography

As the 5th in a line of 8 siblings, Neela grew up often feeling ignored by her parents. By the time she was 6 she had 3 siblings younger than her that she was expected to help care for, while also being expected to submit to the care of her older siblings. Her family was constantly bustling and busy, and the end she often felt she came out ignored or forgotten about in favor of others.

Nobody especially seemed to pay attention when she began to experiment and wonder about her gender in middle school. She would often take her older sister's hand me downs to dress up in, but when those got given away, she began to find an interest in sewing. She started to learn how to sew her own garments from scraps of hand me downs, which became increasingly feminine in nature.

However, repeated comments from her siblings and parents about her dress being "weird" and "embarrassing" caused her to make the decision to not transition until she was an adult. She decided to go to fashion school with the hope of opening her own small tailoring and sewing business, where she also began to focus on dressing the way she wanted and beginning to transition. She began to detach from her family a bit, becoming a sort of black sheep among her siblings who was thought of as distant and weird.

Neela currently owns her own small shop both physical and online, where she both tailors people's clothes and occassionally sells her own original designs. Her current friends are much more accepting of her authentic self, which has caused her to open up more and be more comfortable with her self expression. She loves making all things ruffly and cute, and likes to sew things for her friends.
